Open end packages

Liaoning EO Technology Co.,Ltd | Updated: Apr 15, 2018

It uses a tubular film or a flat film to wrap the package in a sleeve and then perform heat shrinking operation. After the package is completed, there is a shrinkage opening at both ends of the package.

(1) When a tubular film is used, the opening of the tubular film is first opened, and then the product is pushed into the tubular film by means of a chute, and then the film is cut. As shown in Figure 1. This method is more suitable for wrapping cylindrical objects, such as batteries, paper rolls, bottles and cans. The advantages of packaging with a tubular film is that it reduces the number of 1 to 2 sealing operations and has a beautiful appearance. The disadvantage is that it cannot meet the diversification requirements of products and is only applicable to the mass production of a single product.

(2) Wrap flat products with flat film and double flat film wrapping. The film should be wider than the product. It should be wrapped with two sheets of flat film, that is, wrapped with the upper and the lower two films. At the same time as the previous package completes the cutting of the seal, the two films are sealed and the product is then machined or hand-operated. Push the film upright, place it in place and cut the cutting mechanism. Seal the other side of the product and cut it. After the film wrap product shrinks by heat, the two ends of the package shrink to form an oval opening, using a single flat film. When the flat film is unrolled, the product to be wrapped is fed into the middle of the flat film to form a horseshoe-shaped wrapper, which is then heat sealed and sealed.
